Love Our Children, Inc. (LOC)

Located in Monrovia, CA, LOC provides assistance to at-risk, economically disadvantaged, and under-served children, families and individuals in the communities of Southern California.

LOC, founded by Betty Walton, known in the community as Mama Betty, is operated with a dedicated team of volunteers. There is no paid staff.

Our Food Pantry

LOC is able to provide families with weekly staples for a family of 3 to 4 each and every week. We also provide fresh or frozen meat, produce, coffee, toiletries and treats, as available.This program is funded entirely through food drives, private and corporate donations and partnership with other food banks.

Annual Back-to-School Bash

Each year, LOC provides school age children with backpacks and basic school supplies, to give them a good start in their new school year. This program is funded through private and corporate donations of both supplies and money to purchase supplies.

Holiday Programs

From Turkey and trimmings at Thanksgiving, to our annual holiday toy drive, where we provide mothers an opportunity to select very personal holiday gifts for their children for free, LOC works to brighten the holidays for disadvantaged children and families.
