Math and Science Summer Camp

LOC is working towards establishing a summer day camp to enhance learning of math and science in a fun and non-intimidating way. Incorporating every day objects and materials, children will become excited about learning these skills, necessary in our increasingly technological world.

Still needed: Funding for location and notebook computers. Basic classroom supplies.

Summer Outing Program

LOC would like to establish a program to introduce children to performing arts, museums, dance, nature, and other experiences not readily accessible to inner city youth.

Still needed: Funding for bus rental and ticket purchase for some venues.
